Position Overview & Specifications

Legal Assistant – Legal
This is a great job for someone who has previous experience working in an office/corporate environment ideally in an administrative/PA role.
A bit about the job:
The role reports into the Head of Legal for Real Assets and provides support to the Executive Assistant to Aviva Investors General Counsel (the “EA”) to ensure the smooth running of the office of the General Counsel. The individual will also be expected to play an active part within the Aviva and Aviva Investors EA network and in supporting broader functional and business instructions from time to time. In addition to this the role will require the individual to support the senior leadership team by acting as a point of contact for diary, email and meetings management including any travel and accommodation requirements as may be required from time to time. In addition to this the role requires scheduling regular Team meetings and supporting in the production of materials required for, and in the smooth running of such meetings. You will be assisting the teams with general administrative matters relating to document creation, copying, production, management, and legal document storage.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • High standard of accuracy and ability to meet (sometimes) tight deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and solve problems with additional support and expertise where required
  • Planning, prioritisation, time management and organisation
  • Legal experience desirable but not essential.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and telephone manner
