DENTAL ASSISTANT – JOB DESCRIPTION
Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for dental work.
- Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
- Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
- Providing great patient care.
- Exposing dental x-rays and CT scan from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray and CT scan equipment (training provided).
- Giving patients information on dental hygiene and oral health care.
- Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Caring for dental equipment.
Dental Assistant Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Consistently professional appearance and attitude.
- Able to provide great patient care.
- Attend paid training for X-ray Certification and Infection Control.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- X-Ray Certification (Preferred)

- Night Shift (Preferred)
