Applications are welcome from enthusiastic and motivated newly qualified or experienced Radiographers looking to expand their skills in our busy, friendly Imaging Departments over a number of sites.
Applicants must be adaptable and be prepared to work evenings, nights and weekends as part of a seven-day service delivery. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.

Undertake a wide range of imaging examinations as per the department’s technique protocols contributing towards the key service objectives of the Medical Imaging Department.
You will undertake a variety of examinations including general radiography, fluoroscopy, theatre, dental radiography and mobile imaging.
Provide a quality service for all referrers and to the clients they refer.

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of Yorkshire’s leading acute Trusts, serving a population of more than 420,000 across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas. Radiology services are undertaken across six sites with the majority of activity on three.
Act as an operator under the Trusts IR(ME)R 2017 procedures and undertake a range of imaging examinations and procedures as per the departments technique protocols.
Participate in the on-call and other rostered duties as are deemed necessary, providing a 24-hour service.
To participate after relevant training in the Radiography Abnormality Detection system for A/E patients and other referrals i.e. GP. This provides a Radiographer opinion, which will aid the diagnosis and therefore improve patient care.
To participate in Continual Professional Development in line with mandatory registration requirements. Maintain a portfolio of evidence, which can be made available for audit purposes.
