Established in 1973 this family run company has a reputation for outstanding quality in our extensive range of handmade Footwear and vast range of Orthoses.
We are proud of all we have achieved over 50 years and continue to put you and your needs first.
At JSM we produce handmade shoes and boots to your exact foot shape, otherwise known as bespoke orthopaedic footwear. We manufacture Orthopaedic footwear for many of the NHS Hospitals, Trusts, Private Organisations and directly to retail customers.
We are now looking for an experienced shoe upper closer to machine stitch our high quality leather uppers. You should have experience in shoe upper closing although applicants without experience may be considered. You will need to be able to work quickly and accurately and deliver a high quality result.
This position will require the following skills:
- Previous experience in upper closing or machine leatherwork (Preferable)
- Enthusiasm to learn
- Willingness to work with machinery
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Reliability
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivation
- Ability to communicate with others

Salary: £26,208.00-£29,952.00 per year
