Band 4 Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) – Dietetics -
Delivery of Tier 2 Child Healthy Weight Programme, as part of child healthy weight
service in NHS Grampian
Base: Community dietetic service, City Hospital, ABERDEEN
Hours – 37.5 Hrs
Duration – 1 year fixed term
We are looking to recruit a suitably experienced, dynamic, and well-motivated Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) with good communication and IT skills to join our dietetic team.
You will be part of a team of community dietitians based at the City Hospital, working to support the delivery of Tier 2 Child Health Weight Programme to children and their families. This is a new addition to our service and there will be opportunity to help shape this service moving forward.
You will also be responsible for collecting and recording data as part of the Child Healthy weight service processes.
We currently have 7 other HCSW in the department as well as others across NHSG and have good systems in place for joint continuous professional development and peer support.
We participate in undergraduate student training 10 – 12 per year and our HCSW play an active part in helping students achieve their learning outcomes and providing high quality placements for our students.
You must be a car driver and hold a full driving licence.
