Founded in 2008, YouMeSushi has been winning the hearts of Londoners thanks to its varying menu concept that is perfectly combined with a fresh and unique approach to Japanese cuisine.

We are now expanding the business outside London and teaming up with Putt Putt Noodle in the Dolphin Centre - Poole to bring you our mouth watering sushi, katsu and ramen noodle soups while you are having a fun night out.

This is a new store opening and as such we are looking for a dynamic sushi maker Back of House Team member skilled in handmade sushi rolls. You will need to be passionate about food and customer service and a great team player. We are looking for a sushi maker who is organised and who can work well under pressure. A positive attitude and good energy is the key!
You will need to be flexible as this role requires working weekends and late evenings.

The right sushi maker candidate must have:

• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to follow recipes and create dishes according to specification.
• Familiar with Health & Safety standards and Food Hygiene
• Familiar with day-to day duties including food preparation, operating fryers, monitoring cooking processes, assembling dishes, cleaning etc.
• Able to work within a team, as well as independently.
